Choose between brackets designed for 4x4 or 6x6 posts. The kit provides the structural brackets needed to build the pergola frame, including post base brackets, wall mount brackets, multi-arm brackets, and stainless steel wood screws.

This configuration is for the pergola frame only and does not include a roof or canopy. Lumber and the anchoring hardware needed to secure the post bases and wall mount brackets are also not included and must be purchased separately.

Frame-Only Configuration

This kit provides the brackets for constructing the main pergola frame but does not include a roof system. Roof rafters, roof slats, shade canopies, and other roof components can be selected separately if desired.

The attached design uses wall mount brackets to connect one side of the pergola frame to the house, while post base brackets support the exterior posts. The exact placement and structural requirements should be determined based on the project design, existing structure, and applicable building requirements.

Pergola Bracket Construction

Zen Pergola Brackets are designed to work with common lumber sizes including 4x4s, 6x6s, 2x4s, and 2x6s. The brackets are laser-cut and laser-welded and include pre-drilled holes for attaching wood and compatible accessories.

6x6 bracket components use 12-gauge steel, while other bracket sizes use 14-gauge steel. The brackets also feature a weather coating intended for outdoor use.

Lumber & Anchoring Hardware

Lumber is not included with this kit. Wood for the posts, beams, and other pergola frame components must be purchased separately.

Anchoring hardware for securing the post base brackets and wall mount brackets is also not included. The appropriate anchoring hardware should be selected based on the foundation, house structure, installation method, and applicable requirements.

The kit does include the specified stainless steel #12 wood screws.
